1

Day 1. Arrival in Tbilisi

Accommodation. Tbilisi city tour. Methekhi church - In the old town recently been made cabins, which connects the new park, Rike with the Narikhala fortress. For a few minutes, you will be traveling by cabin and enjoy an unusual view of Old Tbilisi. Narikhala fortress –has existed since the mid-4th century. The fortress is built on a hill, therefore there is a splendid view of the old city. District sulfur baths and Legvtahevi – is in the center of the city. By the legend, the foundation of Tbilisi came from hot sulfur springs. There were also conducted archaeological excavations and were found ancient strata of the city. Through the area Passes the rivulet of Legvtahevi. Her beautiful canyon was hidden for decades and has only now been reconstructed - returned to its historic appearance. Meydan - the central square of the old town, which was formerly a commercial center of the city and nowadays is currently surrounded by cafe bars. Day 2. Kakheti – wine region

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Kakheti – wine region. Visit Monastery Bodbe. City tour in Signagi - a small town in the Alazani Valley. Georgian town Sighnaghi is in the eastern part of Kakheti, known as the City of Love. Sighnaghi was also one of Georgia’s many stops along the ancient Silk Road. Sighnaghi is just over an hour away from Tbilisi, making it a good escape from the city's busy life. Visit a local winery, and have a wine tour and tasting. All the wines are fermented and aged in qvevri, a unique Georgian vessel used to ferment and store wine.  Free evening. Overnight in Signagi or nearby.

Day 3. AKvareli – Gremi – Tsinandali – Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Kvareli Cave winery Khareba - a company oriented on creating high-quality products preserving unique vine varieties and traditional methods of winemaking culture. Have a wine tour and tasting there. Visit Castle Gremi. Visit Tsinandali estate. It is situated in the district of Telavi. Famous for its wine and beautiful garden. Have a wine tasting there. Return to Tbilisi via Gombori pass – a mountain chain in the Georgian part of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4. Mtskheta – Jvari - Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Mtskheta. Visit the monastery Djvari - VI century is on the hilltop, From there opens a beautiful view of the City and you can see the confluence of the river Mtkvari and Aragvi. Visit Mtsketa - Monuments of Mtskheta included in UNESCO World Heritage. Mtskheta was founded in the first half of the I millennium BC In the IV century BC since the formation of the East Georgian kingdom, the city became the capital. Visit a local winery and taste several kinds of Georgian wine. Visit the Ananuri castle – complex on the Aragvi River in Georgia, about 45 miles from Tbilisi. The castle is from 13 th century which was the scene of numerous battles. Visit Zhinvali reservoir. Visit Gudauri - a mountain resort on the southern slopes of the Greater. Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia, charms guests with great opportunities for outdoor activities in the mountains, with amazing scenery and a friendly atmosphere. Arrive in Stepantsminda. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in the Kazbegi region.

Day 5. Mtskheta – Jvari - Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Gori

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Gergeti trinity church - This architectural complex from the XIV century is in the village of Gergeti, at a height of 2200 m. The complex includes Holy Trinity Cathedral, constructed in the XIV century, the bell tower, and clergy houses from the XV century. Kazbegi is a beautiful place to visit, the nature and the mountains make the view from the church breathtaking. Optional Offer: Horse riding - 25 EUR per person. Departure towards Chateau Mukhrani. Visit Chateau Mukhrani - based on the historical tradition of winemaking in the Mukhrani region. This is the first and the only true Georgian Royal Chateau, which unites four key components: vineyards, winery, castle, and history. In 1512 Mukhrani became the prince’s estate, governed by Bagrationi royal family. Have a wine tour and tasting Departure to Gori. Day 6. Gori – Uplitsikhe – Tbilisi

Departure to Uplistikhe is an abandoned rock-hewn town, which once played an important role in Georgian history. The place was founded in the late Bronze Age, around 1000 BC, and continued to be inhabited until the 13th century AD. Between the 6th century BC and the 11th century AD, Uplistsikhe was one of the most important political and religious centers of pre-Christian Kartli – one of the predecessors of the Georgian state. Visit Chateau Ateni and taste several kinds of Georgian wine. Return to Tbilisi. Visit Cathedral Trinity (Sameba ) – Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, called as the "Millennium Building". Sameba is the largest Orthodox cathedral in Georgia and the Caucasus. It represents a synthesis of cross-domed and central-domed church. The height of the Cathedral is 100 meters. The Chronicle of Georgia is a monument located near the Tbilisi sea. The monument chronicles the history of Georgia. The monument sits at the top of a large set of stairs. Check-in at the hotel.
