Tour Plan

1

Day 1: Kutaisi-Prometheus cave-Tbilisi.

Arrive in Kutaisi. Transfer from the airport.
Excursion to the Prometheus cave – one of Georgia’s natural wonders providing visitors with breathtaking examples of stalactites, stalagmites, waterfalls, cave pearls, underground rivers, and lakes. Drive to Tbilisi – 250 km. Free time for rest.
In the evening we can offer dinner at the Georgian restaurant with a folklore show. The repertoire of the show program: Adjarian dance, “Mtiuluri”, “Rachuli” and Wedding Dance. Also, the program includes live music, Georgian pop songs, and songs in the voices. This is really a very exciting show!

Day 2: Tbilisi.

Tbilisi city tour. Methekhi church - In the old town recently been made cabins, which connects the new park Rike with the Narikhala fortress. District sulfur baths and Legvtahevi – is in the center of the city. Meydan - the central square of the old town, which was formerly a commercial center of the city and nowadays is currently surrounded by cafe bars. The Sharden area is full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine-tasting bars, and souvenir shops. Gabriadze Theatre. Freedom square. Rustaveli avenue. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3: Bodbe-Signagi + Wine-tasting.

Visit Bodbe Monastery – the nunnery, one of Georgia’s major pilgrimage sites associated with the name of St. Nino (IVb).  A trip to the city of lovers – Sighnaghi – a small town in the Alazani Valley. Tasting different wines (not included in the price, Euro 10 per person).  Workshop of Georgian dishes: You’ll be able to cook Khinkali, Khachapuri, Mtsvadi – Georgian barbeque, and Georgian sweet – Churchkhela (not included in the price, Euro 25 per person). Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Tskaltubo.

Departure towards to small town of Mtskheta. Visiting an ancient monastery Jvari on the top of a hill. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Continue the trip to Zugdidi. Visit Zugdidi and Dadiani museum – Western Georgia’s royal family. The museum complex includes palaces of the Samegrelo queen Ekaterine Chavchavadze-Dadiani and Prince Niko Dadiani, a court church, and the botanic garden. In the museum are kept relics of Samegrelo princes, royal families of France – numerous items connected with the Napoleon Buonaparte; libraries of the Napoleon and Dadiani families. Overnight in Zugdidi.

Day 5: Zugdidi-Enguri-Mestia.

After breakfast check out and continue the trip to Mestia. On the way visit Enguri Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Enguri River in Georgia. Currently, it is the world’s second-highest concrete arch dam with a height of 271.5 meters (891 ft).
In the evening arrive in Mestia.  Despite the small size, the city was an important center of Georgian culture for centuries and contains a number of medieval monuments – churches and fortresses – included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Overnight in Mestia.

Day 6: Mestia.

Visit the new ski resort Hatsvali. The road goes through a pine forest. Take a cable car for the most beautiful views of Mestia. Visit the Ethnographic Museum. In this small mountain museum, provides a rich exposition, ready to argue with the collection of any European museum. It exhibits collected valuable items of gold and silver at different times Icons, jewelry, chasing, hunting equipment, military armor, coins, and many other masterpieces of applied art. All this stuff was voluntarily donated by parishioners to the church. The special place occupies a rich collection of ancient Georgian manuscripts IX–XI centuries. Free evening. Overnight in Mestia.

Day 7: Mestia - Batumi

After breakfast, a check-out drive to Batumi.
City tour. Visit the sculpture of Love “Ali and Nino”. The Love statue was built on the Coast in Batumi Seaside Park. Batumi Sea Port – the largest port of Georgia and it serves as a significant oil exporter point. Batumi Seaside Boulevard – one of the charms of the city, established in 1881. St. Barbara’s Church – located close to Batumi Boulevard, built by British troops. “6 May Park“ and the Nurigeli Lake. “6 May Park“ is one of the charms of Batumi. Visit One of the major tourist sights – «Batumi Piazza» fully implemented in the Italian style. Overnight in Batumi.

Day 8: Batumi - Kutaisi

Day 8: Batumi.
Free time in Batumi.
Transfer to Kutaisi airport.
