Tour Plan

1

Day 1: Tbilisi.

Arrive in Tbilisi. Transfer from the airport—free time for rest. City tour in Tbilisi. During the tour, you will visit: Visit Park Rike and take cable cars to Narikhala fortress. For a few minutes, you will be traveling by cabins and enjoying an unusual view of Old Tbilisi. From the upper ropeway station, you will overlook the old city and the botanical garden. Narikhala fortress – exists since the mid-4th century. The fortress is built on a hill, therefore there is a splendid view of the old city. The District of Sulfur Baths and Legvtahevi –  is located in the city's center. By the legend, the foundation of Tbilisi came from hot sulfur springs. There were also archaeological excavations and were found ancient strata of the city. Through the area passes the rivulet of Legvtahevi. Its beautiful canyon was hidden for decades, and only now has been reconstructed - and returned to its historic appearance. Meydan - the central square of the old town, which was formerly a commercial center of the city and nowadays is currently surrounded by cafe bars. Rustaveli Avenue and architecture from the 19th century. Optional offer: Visit renovated Orbeliani Square - Orbeliani Square is one of the most popular places in Tbilisi. There is a small but very beautiful garden on the square, in the center of which there is a fountain. The architecture of the XIX-XX centuries gives a special charm to these places. You will also find many cafes and restaurants around the square, where you can have a good time in a cozy environment. Renovated Orbeliani Square is one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Tbilisi and attracts a lot of people. Visit “Bazar on Orbeliani” - This is a new space, with a new concept of the restoration of the collective farm market building in the historical part of the capital, which has existed since 1886. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Tbilisi

Visit The Chronicle of Georgia which is Located on the hills overlooking Tbilisi, the monument is a stunning work of art that celebrates the country’s rich history and cultural heritage. The “Chronicle of Georgia” monument is more than just a work of art, however; it is also a symbol of Georgian national identity and pride. For many Georgians, the monument represents a celebration of their country’s history and culture, as well as a reminder of the important events and figures that have shaped the nation over the centuries. Departure to Mtskheta. Mtskheta city tour - Mtskheta was founded in the first half of the I millennium BC With the IV century BC since the formation of the East Georgian kingdom, the city became the capital. Monuments of Mtskheta included in UNESCO World Heritage. Visit Jvari Monastery - VI century church and monastery, located in the east of Mtskheta, at the mouth of the river Mtkvari and Aragvi, on the rocky mountain peak. Jvari Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Upon the adoption of Christianity, King Mirian raised a high wooden cross on this territory, which was worshiped by other Caucasian Christian nations. Guaram, the leader of Kartli, built a small church next to the cross nowadays known as "a small cross". At the end of the VII and VII centuries, Guaram's son - Stepamoz I built a big temple next to a small cathedral, nowadays known as Jvari monastery. The wooden cross was covered up by a temple. Day 3: Tbilisi – Sighnaghi – Tsinandali – Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Kakheti – wine region. Visit Monastery Bodbe. City tour in Sighnaghi - a small town in the Alazani Valley. Georgian town Sighnaghi is in the eastern part of Kakheti, known as the City of Love. Visit Tsinandali:  The Garden –created by a European landscape designer, the Tsinandali Garden is where tall trees blend beautifully with unique, indigenous flowers. Legend has it that lovers who go through the Alley of Love will be happily married till the end of time. Tsinandali Wine Cellar – where the first Georgian wine was bottled. Even though the first wine was fermented 8,000 years ago, it was not bottled before 1814. The cellar preserves more than 16,000 bottles. Tsinandali Museum Guesthouse – presents the opportunity to finish the day off in the traditional atmosphere of the 19th-century residence. It is on the territory of the estate, opposite the mansion. The ceiling of the 1st-floor dining room is decorated by an enormous handmade metal chandelier by famous sculptor Zurab Tsereteli. The Chavchavadze Museum – holds permanent exhibitions of the private collectibles of the Chavchavadze family. Visitors will hear the story of the country intertwined with details from the lives of the Georgian nobility, specifically the Chavchavadze family. The museum preserves more than 600 relics and holds various exhibitions and concerts throughout the year. Visit Gremi:  - the Georgian Orthodox Cathedral is located in Kakheti, in Kvareli municipality village, in the citadel of the east of Gremi, on a high hill. It was built by the King of Kakheti, Levan in 1565. The paintings were finished in 1577. Visit Winery Khareba and have a wine degustation. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4: Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi

Breakfast. Departure to Stephantsminda (Kazbegi). Visit Ananuri castle – Ananuri is a castle complex on the Aragvi River in Georgia, about 45 miles from Tbilisi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eeristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The Castle was the scene of numerous battles. Visit Dariali Gorge – The Darial Gorge is a river gorge on the border between Russia and Georgia. It is in the east of the base of Mount Kazbek, south of the present-- day Vladikavkaz. The gorge was carved by the river Terek and is approximately 13 kilometers long 15:00 Visit Gergeti trinity church - This architectural complex from the XIV century is in the village of Gergeti, at a height of 2200 m. The complex includes the Holy Trinity Cathedral, constructed in the XIV century, the bell tower, and the clergy houses from the XV century. Kazbegi is a beautiful place to visit, the nature and the mountains make the view from the church breathtaking. Have dinner with Georgian Beer. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 5: Tbilisi – Batumi

Breakfast. Transfer to Batumi by train. Check in the Hotel. Evening city tour. Visit Europe Square and Piazza Square: Batumi Boulevard, including Ali and Nino Monument, a celebration of true love based on a fictitious Georgian-Azeri couple; Alphabetic Tower (2011, 130 meters), shaped like DNA and covered in letters of the Georgian alphabet; An 8-minute ride on the Argo Cable Cars will take you to the city’s peak to enjoy a panoramic view of the area, particularly gorgeous at sunset. Overnight in Batumi.

Day 6: Batumi.

Breakfast. Visit Petra Fortress a historical site located on the Black Sea coast, 9 km from Kobuleti in western Georgia. It is situated on a rocky hillside overlooking the sea, with the name "Petra" meaning rock in Greek. The fortress was known for its strategic location and was considered an inaccessible stronghold. The ruins of Petra Fortress are still preserved, showcasing its historical significance and providing a glimpse into the past. The town served as an important outpost of the Eastern Roman Empire during the 6th century and played a role in the Lazic War between Rome and Sasanian Persia. Visit the Makhuntseti Waterfall, it consists of pure mountain water and falls from a height of over 50 meters. The beautiful view of the waterfall, fantastic nature, and a short distance from the resort town of Batumi attracts a vast number of tourists here. The waterfall can be reached through the famous bridge of Queen Tamara, which is also called the bridge Makhuntseti. This is one of the largest arch bridges in Ajara, its length is about 20 meters, height is 6 meters. Free evening. Along with tasting delicious fish, you will also enjoy the wonderful views of the sea. Lots of locals and tourists visit the Batumi fish market every day. Overnight in Batumi.

Day 7: Batumi – Sumela Monastery – Uzungol Lake - Trabzon.
