Day 1

During the tour you will see:
  • District sulfur baths and Legvtahevi - By the legend, the foundation of Tbilisi
  • became from hot sulfur springs. There were also conducted archaeological excavations and were found ancient strata of the city.
  • The Palace of Que

  • Meskhetian house Tbilisi
  • Rezo Gabriadze marionette theatre.
  • Orbeliani palace Nowadays the residence of the President of Georgia.
  • A century-old Hotel London in Tbilisi - was built-in 1875. The most attractive part of the hotel was its entrance hall and the stairs. All the stairs were made from luxury Italian marble. The stair railing was made in Germany, and there was a huge chandelier in the center of the main hall.

  • Money Museum - The building was erected in 1913 (architect M.Ogajanov). When Soviet power was established the building was confiscated and given to the State Bank.
  • Writers’ House of Georgia - a perfect blend of European and Georgian architectural styles. The Art-Nouveau mansion once belonged to David Sarajishvili – a famous philanthropist, and founder of Georgian brandy production. German architect Carl Zaar, in collaboration with Aleksander Ozerov and Korneli Tatishev, planned the building, while the exquisite wooden interior belongs to the Georgian craftsman Ilia Mamatsashvili.

  • Authorized School N6 - Historical district Sololaki is worth visiting. Built by architect Alexander Ozerov in 1903-1905, the so-called Georgian Hogwarts has retained its habitual mystical atmosphere up to the present.
