Tour “Beautiful Georgia” starts from Tbilisi and includes old capital Mtskheta, Kakheti region (Bodbe and Signagi), Borjomi resort, Imereti region with Town Kutaisi and unique Prometheus caves, Village Martvili and Martvili Canyons.

DAY 1: TBILISI CITY TOUR

Arrival in Tbilisi. Transfer from the airport. Get ready for Georgian sightseeing. Tbilisi city tour. Metekhi church and the Monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Taking a cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Sulphur bath district and Legvtahevi. Meydan – central area, which before was the shopping area of the city and at the present time is surrounded by cafe – bars. Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops. The Clock Tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theatre. Cross the glass Bridge of Peace. Holy trinity cathedral – one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world. In the evening we can offer dinner at the Georgian restaurant with a folklore show which is a part of Georgian sightseeing. The repertoire of the show program: Adjarian dance, “Mtiuluri”, “Rachuli” and Wedding Dance. Also, the program includes live music, Georgian pop songs and songs in the voices. This is really a very exciting show. The cost of €25 per person.

Day 2: Bodbe – Sighnaghi + wine-tasting

Visit Bodbe Monastery – the nunnery, one of Georgia’s major pilgrimage sites associated with the name of St. Nino (IVb). A trip to the city of lovers – Sighnaghi – a small town on the Alazani Valley. Tasting different wines (not included in the price, $ 10 per person). Master-class of Georgian dishes: You’ll be able to cook or Khinkali, Khachapuri, Mtsvadi – Georgian barbeque and Georgian sweet – Churchkhela (not included in the price, €25 per person). Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3: Mtskheta-Borjomi

Departure towards a small town Mtskheta. Monuments of Mtskheta are included in the UNESCO World Heritage and represents one of the most important parts of Georgian sightseeing. Visiting an ancient Monastery Jvari (VI century.) on top of a hill. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010-1029 gg.). Continue trip towards Borjomi. Visit Borjomi park and taste mineral water coming from the underground. Have a walk in the Borjomi Park. Overnight in Borjomi.

Day 4: Borjomi-Kutaisi

Departure to Kutaisi. City tour. Visit central square and famous Colchis Fountain. Opera House – Kutaisi’s opera house has recently been renovated with lines of classical statues. Drama Theatre – overlooking the picturesque central square. Bagrati Cathedral – From the Chain Bridge, we will walk up cobbled streets to the stately Bagrati Cathedral on a hill. The cathedral was built in 1003 and restored in 2012. Visit White bridge.  Market – Kutaisi indoor product market is one of the largest and most colorful in Georgia, full of cheese, walnuts, spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 5: Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Martvili

Visit Prometheus cave located in Tskaltubo. Prometheus cave – one of Georgia’s natural wonders providing visitors with breathtaking examples of stalactites, stalagmites, waterfalls, cave pearls, underground rivers, and lakes. Visit Martvili canyons which used to be a bath place for Dadiani royal family. You can enjoy the scenery, its waterfalls and take a boat trip in the river with deep green color. Overnight in Kutaisi or Martvili.

Day 6: Kutaisi-Tbilisi

Visit Gelati – medieval monastic complex near Kutaisi. A masterpiece of the Georgian Golden Age, founded in 1106 by King David IV of Georgia and is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Return to Tbilisi. Transfer to the airport.
